My coaching program provides strategic solutions for people involved in toxic relationships whether at work or at home (or both), as well as for those in the midst of career transitions. I offer one-on-one coaching as well as group “Think Tanks” to help clients reclaim their lives and learn to experience true self control and power.
I specialize in the following areas:
Workplace Bullying: According to the Workplace Bullying Institute, and 66% of people targeted by workplace bullies ultimately lose their jobs. Ongoing bullying can deteriorate your physical and mental health, and unfortunately many targeted people try to “Tough it out” but this does not stop the bullying and the stress mounts. The good news is that when the stress is eliminated or significantly reduced, you will return to normal, a new normal perhaps, but you will be able to think and feel again. The lesson is to turn off the stress.
Toxic People: Simply put, toxic people are people who are not healthy to be around, and in extreme cases can be dangerous. In some circumstances you can easily let go of the relationship s (such as a friend or boyfriend/girlfriend after you learn to identify “Red Flags” and harmful effects), while other relationships (family, coworkers, co-parent) are nearly impossible to eliminate without serious consequences. The answer in the latter case is to establish healthy boundaries to protect yourself from these unhealthy relationships and learn to recognize “Red Flags” to prevent getting involved in new toxic relationships.
Career Transitions: During this troubling economy, it is easy to find yourself in the unemployment line no matter how successful you have been in the past. This can often be a traumatic experience as feelings of injustice, despair, and hopelessness can surface. In order to move on you need to be able to let go of the past and the anger and resentment you hold onto. But this is much easier said than done. Grief is a process and it takes time and lots of self care to be able to let go and move forward.
